You've found the perfect pair of shoes - they're gorgeous, comfortable, and match your new dress exactly - the only problem is, your feet aren't quite as perfect. Whether it's cracked heels, bad toenails, or the need for a pedicure that's keeping you out of the shoes you love, here are a few options that will give you pampered and beautiful feet. You'll be back into your favorite strappy sandals in no time.

Hard skin accumulates naturally on different parts of the body, especially at the base of our feet. When too much hard skin accumulates, it can become quite painful to wear certain shoes or to even walk. To prevent too much hard skin from accumulating it is important that we exfoliate the feet with a gentle scrub. Different kinds of scented scrubs are available that are made especially for the feet. Choose your favorite scent to relax while you massage your feet with the scrub. If you are lucky, get your partner to do this for you! For better scrubbing, try using a pumice. This will help get rid of that hard skin more effectively. You will be amazed how soft and smooth your feet will feel afterwards. If you suffer from very dry and cracked skin on your heels, you might want to try Flexitol Heel Balm along with a callus reducer such as Dr. Scholl's. Follow the directions carefully and if you have health issues such as diabetes, or skin or circulation problems, consult with your doctor before using any product.

After the scrubbing is complete, massage a rich moisturizing lotion onto your feet and put on a pair of socks until the lotion is absorbed. Do this daily until your feet are soft and supple.

If you have calluses that cause pain, you may want to see a podiatrist for treatment but for minor problems, you can probably treat them yourself. Because the thickness of the callus causes pressure, it is possible to reduce the overgrown tissue by soaking the feet in warm water and filing down the callus with a pumice stone. In most cases, calluses can be prevented by wearing shoes and socks that fit properly and by using lotion to keep the feet moisturized.

For the ultimate relaxing experience, go for a professional pedicure. This will not only help keep your feet feeling better but they will look great in that perfect pair of sandals.
