About Cuisine

Another coffee shop? No, not at all! Burlap and Bean is a family-owned and operated coffee house. What is the difference? Well for starters, the ambiance. You walk in the front door and the first thing you want to do is flop on their over-stuffed leather couch and take off your shoes. If you are a regular, you might even find one of the friendly staff bringing you your slippers. From your comfortable seat, you will notice the walls have been richly painted with the warm colors of fall: burnt sienna, dark chocolate and spicy mustard. Take a deep breath in and let the fragrant aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans waif over you. Can you feel the stress of your day melting away?

Fridays host Open Mic night from 7-10pm. Saturday nights promise a live acoustic concert from various talented singer/songwriters in the tri-state area. Get there early, as seats are first-come, first-serve and the house does max out at 50 patrons. Be sure to check Burlap and Beans' website calendar often for updated show times and listings.

Stop by any day of the week to peruse the art on the wall from local artists, bring your laptop and make use of the free WIFI, or just bring your appetite and get yourself a delicious slice of Linvilla Orchard's famous homemade pie. It pairs beautifully this time of year with a steaming mug of hot apple cider.

Coffee. Espresso. Cappuccino. Latte. If any of these words are music to your ears, then you will understand the passion behind the business Burlap and Bean is running. Burlap and Bean is obsessively committed to producing the finest and the freshest coffee. The owners have partnered with TransFair to assure their customers that every farmer was paid a fair wage for his harvest.

When deciding where to buy your coffee, what would you say you value most?
Variety? Cleanliness? Dependability? Taste? Friendly staff? Owners, Brent and Ben Endicott ask, "Why choose? At Burlap and Bean, we guarantee to meet all of your highest standards because they are ours too!"
